Welcome to Rwanda Safari. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.   Please read them carefully before making a booking.


About Rwanda Safari

Rwanda Safari is a subsidiary of New Dawn Associates (NDA), an independent tour operator offering guided tours to Akagera National Park and other points of interest across Rwanda.   We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by park management. Our services include transportation, guided experiences, and logistical support for visitors.   Park entry fees, regulations, and policies are set by the relevant park authorities and may change without notice. Visitors are responsible for complying with all park rules and guidelines during their visit.


1. Booking and Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of payment. Full payment is typically required to secure your reservation unless otherwise stated at checkout or in your confirmation.


2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation policy presented at the time of booking and/or in your booking confirmation.   Certain services (e.g., park permits, third-party tickets) may be non-refundable or subject to supplier terms.


3. Risk and Indemnity

Participation in tours and activities is at your own risk. By booking, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless New Dawn Associates, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.


4. Travel Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet all travel requirements, including but not limited to visas, permits, vaccinations, travel insurance, and valid identification documents.


5. Liability and Assumption of Risk

New Dawn Associates acts as an intermediary between clients and independent service providers (including hotels, transportation companies, activity operators, and park authorities). We do not own or control these entities and therefore cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising from the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
  • We are not responsible for losses or expenses due to delays or changes in schedules, overbooking, defaults, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, force majeure, or other causes beyond our control.
  • You assume all risks associated with participating in tours and activities, including (without limitation) personal injury, property damage, challenging terrain, and exposure to wildlife.
  • You release, indemnify, and hold harmless New Dawn Associates, its employees, agents, and affiliates from claims or liabilities arising from your participation, except where prohibited by law.

Insurance: We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation/interruption, and loss or damage of personal belongings. Proceeding with a booking confirms you have read, understood, and agreed to this assumption of risk and limitation of liability.


6. Changes to Itineraries

We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, wildlife activity, park regulations, operational or safety concerns. Equivalent value substitutions will be made where reasonably possible.


7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be resolved exclusively under Rwandan jurisdiction.
