8 DAYS SAFARI TO WESTERN UGANDA

DAY 1 Jinja
You will be picked from your hotel and transferred to Jinja; you will then have a full day in Jinja. You will then drive back to Kampala arriving late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: To Fort portal
After breakfast you will drive to Fort Portal, you will have lunch enroute. Arrival will be late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel

DAY 3 Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest
After breakfast you will go for Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest, after lunch you then go on for a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary which is home to approximately 137 bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and over night

Day 4: Transfer to Queen
In the morning, have breakfast and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you about 4 hours to reach the park before noon. You will have lunch and then go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and George. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 5; Game drive
Very early in the morning have breakfast and then go for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector to be rewarded with game like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, side stripped jackals, colobus monkeys, bush bucks, bushpigs, warthogs, Uganda Kobs and others. In the afternoon you will have another game drive.Dinner and overnight as above 

Day 6: Transfer to - Bwindi
After breakfast you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth called Ishasha famous for tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi, stop over for lunch, after wards connect to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 7: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
After a heavy morning breakfast and short briefing from the guides you will depart for the gorilla tracking. You may sport other interesting bird species as well as other nocturnal primates like the bush buck and Gallagos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 8 Transfer to Bunyonyi Island
After breakfast, depart to Lake Bunyonyi where you will interact with the Batwa people After Lunch, relax at the lodge and later enjoy a boat cruise along the islands. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland resort

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi
You will have a full day on the island, go for a cruise and do bird watching. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland resort

Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi – Kisoro airstrip
After breakfast you will be driven to Kisoro airstrip.
