21 DAYS UGANDA AND RWANDA SAFARI
Day 1 Airport Pickup
On arrival you will be picked from the airport and transferred to Ngamba Island for Uganda Chimpanzees. You will visit the chimpanzees as they feed. Dinner and overnight in the tents
Day 2 Forest walk
After breakfast, you will do a forest walk accompanied by the chimpanzees! You will return to the tents for lunch and in the late afternoon, you will do a boat ride. You will be able to see various animals like crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the tents
Day 3 Mount Elgon
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala and then head for Mount Elgon. You will have lunch in Jinja Town. On arrival you will visit Sipi Falls. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 4 Hiking Kapkwai - Mount Elgon Hikking
After breakfast visit the exploration center at Kapkwai in the Chebonet valley and take the Mountain Bamboo Trail traversing a 7km loop across the River and the Southern rim of the gorge. You will have Picnic lunch. Dinner and Overnight at the Rest Camp
Day 5: Hike - Sasa Trail - Mount Elgon Uganda
After breakfast we’ll take a full day on the Sasa Trail to see the dramatic landscapes from the high altitude and moorland. You will have Picnic lunch.

Day 6: Nature Walk – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast you will take a short forest walk. After the forest walk you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will stop at the top of the falls before you check in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Red Chili
Day 7: Game Drive
After an early breakfast, you will go for a game drive. The Wildlife in the Murchison Falls National Park includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, oribis and waterbucks. After the drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise which gives an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. It enables you to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge/ Red Chili Camp
Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park |Uganda Chimpanzee trekking/Tracking
Today you will travel to Fort Portal town, through the villages and beautiful scenery. You will have lunch en route and you will arrive late afternoon. In the evening you will have local guides for walks around the 1000 acre farm, to the Mahoma Water Fall, and the Walks will take you around crater rims, past alcohol brewing in oil drums, through banana plantations, coffee terraces, plots of cassava, groundnuts, sorghum and millet. Then after, relax for the rest of the evening, dinner and overnight at the choice of your Hotel.
DAY 9 Visit the Pygmies | Cultural Tour
Leave after breakfast for the crown and hot springs. The drive is a 2-4
hours. This will be the day in the pygmy villages located near the Ituri
Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an appealing cultural experience. You take a tour to the Hot Springs from where you will visit the Pygmies. The guide will carry packed lunch for you so that you have a Picnic lunch while you experience the TRUE AFRICA! Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Fort portal. Dinner and overnight at Hotel
DAY 10 Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest
In the early morning, go for Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest, Assemble at Kanyankyu tourist centre and the start off with the search for the Chimpanzees. Kibale national is a habitat for more than 10 primate species, which include, black & white coleus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys among the many. After lunch you then go on for a swamp walk, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is managed by the Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization formed in 1992 with the aim of achieving social and economic development for local communities. You will be guided and walk around the swamp, which is home to approximately 137 bird species including the Snowy Headed Robin Cat, Black and White Casqued Hornbill, Emerald Cuckoo and a variety of Weavers, Warblers, Greenbuls and Sunbirds. There's also an abundance of Butterflies. It's also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 11 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll leave for Fort portal to visit the Kings Royal tombs and various cultural groups including the Burungu community which is rooted in Traditional Toro culture that will entertain you with music, dancing and story telling.
Spend the whole half day with the local community and on village walks/tours and in the afternoon you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. For Dinner and over night at your Hotel
DAY 12 A Launch Cruise Along the Kazinga Channel
After a cup of coffee, Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After lunch, enjoy the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. DAY 13 Bwindi for Gorillas | Gorilla Tracking
Today you will depart for Bwindi, through the southern sector of the park; here you will be viewing the famous tree climbing lions as the rest up in the large forest trees. You will have lunch and then go for a community walk through the near by villages. Overnight at your Hotel
DAY 14 Trek Gorillas | Gorilla Trekking
An early breakfast after which you proceed to the park offices for a briefing, then continue on the trek. We advise you bring with hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts for the gorilla trek. A packed lunch and water is provided by the lodge, after the trek you have the afternoon at leisure, or site seeing around the trading centre. Overnight at your Hotel
DAY 15 Rwanda | Rwanda Tour
Depart for Rwanda, border crossing – visa fee of $60 is required. You will stop over for a lunch break, and you will arrive at the Gorilla Nest resort late afternoon. Your guide will brief you about the gorilla trek for the next day. Dinner and over night at Mt Gorilla Nest Lodge
DAY 16 Another Day of Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda
An early breakfast after which you proceed to the park offices for a briefing, then continue on for the trek. We advise you bring with hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts for the trek. A packed lunch and water is provided by the lodge, after the trek you will be taken for Hikes at the Dianne Fossey graves. Then return for dinner and over night at the lodge
DAY 17 Kigali Genocide Memorial Site | Rwanda Cultural Tour
After breakfast, you will go for Golden Monkey tracking then after have lunch. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Kigali for a tour around the Genocide memorial sites and the Markets around. Return to the lodge to freshen up as you wait for dinner and over night at your Hotel.
DAY 18 Transfer to Uganda Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 19 Boat Ride
After breakfast you will take a nature walk in the morning and in the after lunch you will go for a boat ride. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 20 Lake Mburo
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Mburo and on arrival you will go for a boat ride. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 21 Kampala
Early in the morning you will go for a game drive. You will return to the lodge for breakfast and then drive back to Kampala to catch your flight back home.
