Itinerary for 2011 (22 days) Biking Safari

Day 1 05th Jan: Airport pick up (ebb)  
Upon arrival at 14.50 from EK 723 you will be picked and transferred to Munyonyo common wealth resort at 16.45. You will arrive at the hotel and check in at 19.00 you will have dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 2: 06th Jan Kampala City tour
After breakfast at 11.00 you will walk through main streets of Kampala, at 13.00              you will have lunch at Lukia house you will return to the hotel at 15.30.  At 18.00 you will depart for Bubbles O’Leary, at 19.30 you will have dinner at Khana Kzana at 21.00 You will return to the hotel Munyonyo common wealth resort for dinner and overnight

Day 3: 07th Jan Kampala to Jinja
After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel and drive to Jinja at 09.00 you will visit Mabira forest and make a Forest Walk for 1 hour at 11.00 you will arrive Jinja at 11.15 you will Commence boat trip to the source of the Nile and at 13.00   you will have a Full picnic lunch at Speke Memorial at 14.30 you will Visit the Falls after you will drive back to Kampala arriving at 18.00 at 19.30         you will go for a BBQ Tilapia by Speke resort on edge of Lake Victoria
Overnight at Munyonyo common wealth resort

Day 4: 08th Jan Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast at 09.30 you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park at 12.30 Stop at Enro Hotel, Mityana for lunch, at 17.00you will arrive in Fort Portal check in at Mountains of the Moon hotel and then at 19.00 you will have dinner. Overnight at Mountains of the Moon hotel

               
Day 5: 09th Jan drive to Queen Elizabeth -Game drive
At 09:00 you will leave for Queen Elizabeth national park. At 12:00 you will arrive at mweya check in and have lunch. At 15:00 you will go for game drive, Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge

Day 6: 10th game drive
At 06.30 you will go for a Game Drive, and at 09.30   you will go to Busg Camp breakfast at Camp 2 at 13.00 you will return to at Mweya lodge for lunch at 14.30 you will depart for boat cruise and at 15.00you will begin the boat tour at Kazinga Channel at 17.00 you will Finish and depart for Hippo Hill BBQ with bonfire and dancers. Return to the lodge for overnight

Day 7: 11th Jan Depart for Lake Bunyonyi
At 06.30 you will begin a game drive, after the game drive you will go for breakfast and after at 09.00 you will depart for Kabale directly on main roads, at 12.00 you will make a stopover and then have lunch in Mbarara at Lakeview hotel, at 13.00 you will Depart for Kabale arriving kabale at 16.00 and then check in at Arcadia Cottages, at 19.00 you will have dinner, overnight at arcadia cottages

Day 8:12th Jan visit to the Batwa community
After breakfast at 08.30 you will depart for Bunyonyi Batwa’s community, at 10.30 you will arrive at the Pygmy colony, at 13.00       you will arrive Bunyonyi Resort for lunch. In the afternoon at 14.30 you will take a walk through Kabale. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages at 19:00

Day 9: 13th Rwanda
After breakfast at 08.30 you will depart for Kisoro border, arrive at the border at 11:30, you will have lunch at Gorilla’s Nest at 13:00 dinner and overnight at mountain gorillas’ nest

Day 10: 14th Jan Gorilla trekking
After breakfast with packed lunch you will go for Gorilla trekking. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: 15th Gisenyi
After breakfast you will go for golden monkey tracking and then transfer to Gisenyi and have lunch, dinner and overnight at Serena hotel on Lake Kivu

Day 12: 16th Transfer to Kigali
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kigali; you will have lunch in Kigali and then do a city tour, visiting the Rwanda genocide memorial ground, the golden monkeys and much more. Dinner and overnight at Serena hotel

Day 13: 17th Butale
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Butale –the border of Rwanda and Burundi. It’s about 58.63 to 63.72 km driving distance .Dinner and overnight at Hotel Club Du Lac

Day 14: 18th Transfer to Bujumbura
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Bujumbura for a city tour. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Club Du Lac

Day 15: 19th Transfer to Tanzania
You will have breakfast and transfer to Mara Tanzania via Biharamuro 35kms from Bujumbura to shinyanga 45kms to Mwanza 35kms and then to Mara which is 20km from Mwanza. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 16: 20th Transfer to Mara
Have breakfast and then transfer to Mara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 17: 21st Full day game drive
Have breakfast and then go for a full day game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 18: 22nd Transfer to Serengeti national park
After break fast you will transfer to Serengeti national park, dinner and overnight at Serengeti sopa lodge

Day 19: 23rd Full day game drive
Have breakfast and go for a full day game drive. You will then transfer to Ngorongoro Sopa lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 20: 24th Half day game drive
Have breakfast and go for a half day game drive. And then transfer to Dodoma or Dar es Salaam

Day 21: 25th Guides back to Namango or Arusha or Nairobi

Day 22: 26th Guides to Malaba or Kampala
