Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
On arrival at the Kigali Airport, you will be met by our safari guide who will transfer you to the East of Rwanda to Akagera National Park bordering Tanzania, Dinner and Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge

Day 2: Game drives and boat trip on Lake Ihema
You will have an early morning game drive in the park. During the game drive you may see various animals like the hippos, elephants, buffalos, giraffe, hyenas, crocodiles and many other animals plus bird life. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for late breakfast. In the afternoon you will go for a canoe ride on Lake Ihema. Dinner and overnight as above

Day 3: Departure
Have an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and then drive back to Kigali for your flight back home

5 DAYS AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK TOUR

Day 1: Kigali
On arrival you will be met at the airport by our guide who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Akagera National Park
after breakfast you will transfer to Akagera National Park – Game drive with an opportunity to see over 12 species of antelopes, over 525 species of birds including the rare one called the shoe bill stock, papyrus gynolek and the big 5 i.e. Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Ele-phant) to mention but a few – optional luxurious camping in the Park or enjoy a comfortable night at a recommended hotel.

Day 3: Ruhengeri – introduction to local culture
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Ruhengeri – visit community based activities where you can learn to produce banana and sorg-hum beer, acquire the ethno botany skills, make your own beautiful handicrafts out of banana leaves – expe-rience traditional dancing, drumming and singing– learn how to make a traditional dish together with a local family – dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Buhanga Forest:
after breakfast with packed lunch you will go for gorilla tracking. In the afternoon you will go for an excursion into Buhanga forest (Where all Rwandan Kings were initiated) or drive to the beautiful twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera.

Day 5: departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight

8 DAYS WILD LIFE AND CULTURAL SAFARI IN RWANDA

Day 1:  Nyungwe national park

After breakfast you will picked from the hotel and transferred to Nyungwe Forest. You will make a stopover in Butare (2½ hours from Kigali) to see the National Museum, and lunch at the Ibis restaurant. You will make another stopover at  the Marimba Genocide site on the road to Nyungwe then dinner and overnight at Gisakura government Guest house.

Day 2: Chimp tracking plus monkey viewing

After breakfast you will set off to Nyungwe for chimpanzee tracking where chimps are seen in a few hours past a thoroughly forest search but full of a wonderful forest life experience. Return for lunch and later go for colobus monkey viewing at the Albert rift that have unique characteristic unlike other monkeys that they move in troops of a hundreds. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura government guest house.

Day 3: Forest walk - volcanoes national park

After breakfast you will go for a guided forest walks. You may spot some birds like flycatcher, along tailed blue, orange and sometimes white bird often seen around the rest house plus other animals which use a forest as there habitat. Return for lunch and later leave for Volcanoes National park dinner and overnight at Kinigi Guest House

Day 4: Rwanda Gorilla Tracking

 Early morning set off for gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest of the Virunga is a wonderful experience. If you are lucky you can get to see the gorillas, spend time with the gorillas, and be back at the lodge in time for a late lunch! Overnight and dinner at Kinigi Guest House

Day 5: Akagera national park

Depart for Akagera National park and arrive late afternoon with a late lunch then have dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 6: Game Drive-Rwanda

Go for an early morning game drive and have a chance to look at plenty of animals like buffalos, elephants, zebras, giraffes, lion, leopard, black rhino and various antelope of which  all are reasonably visible. Return for lunch and later visit the highest concentrations of hippo using canoe rides, you may see large crocodiles too, dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 7: visit the Crater Lake

After breakfast visit the Crater Lake using boat rides. After lunch go for an evening game drive and see animals while returning to there habitats for an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 8:Kigali city tour and departure

Leave for Kigali and if time allows go for city tour including a visit to the market, and a genocide memorial then Transfer to the airport for your departure flight

5 DAYS PRIMATES SAFARI
Day 1: Nyungwe forest National park
Leave Kigali and drive southwest to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Nyungwe Forest National Park is located south of Lake Kivu on the border with Burundi. Along the way, make stops at places of interest including local markets, the traditional palace of Rwanda’s Former King in Nyanza. Dinner and Overnight at Gisakura Guest House

Day 2: Rwanda chimpanzee tracking
after breakfast you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Rwanda. You may spot other Rwanda primates such as the L’hoest’s monkey and the grey-cheeked mangabeys are often sighted. The birds are spectacular, though as in most tropical forests, you’ll have to look hard for them. Giant hornbills, great blue turacos and red-breasted sparrowhawks are amongst the specials, of which 24 are endemic to this section of the Rift Valley.

Day 3: Rwanda cultural museum
after breakfast you will return to Kigali. On your back to Kigali you will make a stop over in Butare, visit the Botanical Gardens and a cultural museum. You will have lunch in Kigali City and thereafter drive north to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 4: gorilla tracking in Rwanda
after breakfast you will transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarters to track gorillas in Parc National des Volcans. Gorilla tracking through the forest, hills and swamps can be tough, arduous and tiring, sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 5: departure
after breakfast, you will leave for Kigali city. Time permitting; you will go for a tour of the city including shopping. Transfer to airport for your outbound flight. book>>>> one now!!
